Origins of Economic Opps
A group of us came together in the Spring of 2012 to discuss a new idea for “doing the business”. We had all decided to try another way (Plan B) while continuing to work our 45 year plan (Plan A). Our frustration was with how to find others who were looking for their Plan B? We had no doubt that our Plan B (Market America) is the best low risk opportunity in network marketing. We had found that like-minded people are not easy to find. As entrepreneurs, we were ready to try something else, which became Economic Opps. Others in Market America were reporting success with finding entrepreneurs on the internet through social media. As a group we had many valuable and varied experiences through our Plan A careers. Most of these lessons of experience were learned the hard way.
We opined on how it would have been nice if someone could have “clued us in” on the “real world” when we first started to work, or even while still in school. So, a primary purpose, or theme, to our mission for Economic Opps is to share our insights in hopes it will help others to better plan for their future. A sneaky thought is that those who relate to our ideas or insights may be “like minded”. Perhaps all this thinking may cause them to want to hear about a Plan B (Market America). Oh, I’m sorry, did I just say that “out loud”?

Invitation to Learn More
On September 28th we are heading to Chicago for Go Now Chicago's Market America event......and we'd love for you to join us!!!!!
For those of you who went to our Economic Opps Blog:
www.economic-opps.blogspot.com,
and clicked the “BUSINESS PLAN” (Earn Money) on the
tool bar, you saw a 22 minute YouTube video, that gave the overview of Market
America and how entrepreneurs are doing the business with little overhead and
little risk. If this sparked your
interest, it should have also sparked some questions. Entrepreneurs not only form questions, they
also gather all the facts before making a decision. Many people rush to say
“no” as a means to avoid dealing with the unknown. If you are not one of those people, and you
are still curious and wanting more information, we have an opportunity coming
up.
On Saturday, September 28th,
a group of us are driving from Springfield, IL to Chicago, IL to hear one of
the successful entrepreneurs in Market America tell her story of how she was
able to create a residual income over $35,000.00 every four weeks. If you can get to Springfield, Chicago or
somewhere along the way, we would be happy to have you join our group, as our
guest, and learn if Market America is right for you. Send us an email at
economicopps@gmail.com or call me, Bill
Taylor, at 217-741-7400. And for more information about the event go to http://www.gonowchicago.com.

Introductions - William Taylor
I live in Springfield, IL where my wife, Sue, and I enjoy running four different, but
related, businesses. First, Sue is a psychotherapist who counsels individuals and
couples. Second, I am a lawyer and I consult with, and periodically represent,
individuals on various legal matters. Third, Sue and I are co-mediators, working
with couples primarily in the area of divorce. I also mediate for the US Post
Office, and the IL Department of Children and Family Services. Our fourth business is
Market America, where we consult with people on various health issues and helpful
nutraceuticals. We also share the business opportunity of Market America with
those with the gumption to build a successful business.
All four of these enterprises share the common goal of “Helping Others.” Through
these businesses we have met many people who continue to surprise us. There have
been many inspirational stories of people facing adversity who take full
responsibility to resolve the issues they face. They deeply appreciate any help
they receive. We have also seen many who take little or no responsibility and look
to others to blame or rescue them. They often do not appreciate help, especially
when they are left with responsibility. One thing I have learned is that I cannot
change people. The “mindset” people choose determines how information is processed.
There is an old Chinese saying, “When the student is ready, the teacher will
appear.” I find this to be true with people regardless of which hat I am wearing.
For many I hope I am planting “seeds” that will later bear fruit. Bertrand
Russell once said, “Most men would rather die than think, and many do.” Maybe it is
fear of the unknown.
